Where the dog owners let'em run loose. Sorry to hear about John's accident. I was on my way home tonight and took a "short cut" through a "hood" and all of a sudden this dog (yes there are leash laws in effect, but most folks in that part of town ignore it) comes charging out from between some parked cars right for me. A well timed/aimed kick to the temple, just in front of the ear, with my steel toed cowboy boot allowed me to changes it's attitude and direction with extreme prejudice. I got on down the road before the dogs owner (who was on his porch) could say "boo". All I heard was a dog howling and a dude yelling. I was out numbered, out gunned, and out of there! Get well, John.
